Overview

Challenge

Charitize’s original Wix site lacked community features and relied on manual coordination between buyers and volunteers, making it unsustainable and unscalable. Our team aimed to solve this by designing a branded, automated web-based MVP for a three-sided marketplace within six weeks.

Challange

The new digital platform achieved a significant uplift in user engagement, as evidenced by longer session durations and increased social media interaction. The innovative approach enhanced the client’s market presence and directly contributed to improved conversion rates, solidifying their reputation as an industry leader.

Solution

A Versatile Visual Language

We designed the characters and elements using simple shapes, blending perspectives with subtle metaphors to create visual interest, spark imagination, and evoke emotions. The library now includes over 250 scenery elements, allowing us to build dynamic scenes and easily adjust them as needed.

Creating custom illustrations has given Instabase a unique way of visual storytelling. However, having a library doesn’t replace the need for illustrators—it’s an evolving resource that requires ongoing development.
